Gen 6:14 - There is no other mention of this type of wood in the Bible and it's identity is uncertain.
2. Who was Noah's father?
Lamech ... CORRECT
Gen 5:28-29 - Lamech, son of Methuselah, not to be confused with Lamech, son of Methushael.
3. How many people were saved in the ark?
Eight ... CORRECT
1 Pe 3:20 - Eight souls were saved by the ark, Noah, his three sons and the four wives.

600 ... is the CORRECT answer (I had this one wrong)

You'll probably find a concordance useful for this one - don't forget "Noe" in the New Testament though!
I have always enjoyed reading the story of Noah..he was ridiculed for telling the truth..for preaching righteousness..the people could have been spared dying in the flood if they had only believed what he said..he told them judgement was coming..and they did not believe him..but instead made fun of him...in the end they probably tried to get into the ark ..but God had closed the door and they could not enter..it was too late..I am sure Noah and his family heard their cries of help..but they could not open the door for them..because God had closed it. What God opens no man can shut..and what God closes no man can open.

Ok.....gopher wood got me a little excited.....a new tree I had never heard of....but when I goggled it....no gopher tree....Preserving lifesaving social programs that ordinary people need, like Medicare and Social Security is WAY more important than giving more tax breaks to wealthy corporations and fat cats.....
