Does anyone have an old fashioned recipe for these two?
My mother used to make them. She passed away, I had recipes but my x-husband decided to throw them away.

:hey here is a recipe handed down in my family for persimmon pudding
2 cups persimmon pulp
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
4 cups milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp soda
1/2 stick melted butter
pinch of salt
mix it all together and bake at 350 for an hour or hour fifteen minutes stirring every 15 minutes
It is really good.

where do you get persimmon pulp? A friend made some for NYE and it was the first time I had eaten it in 40+ years (loved it as a kid)...I forgot where she said she got the pulp.

I have a tree.. But I have seen bigger ones in Kroger. Just skin,cut,remove seed then mash them to a pulp..
