This restaurant opened over in front of Best Buy in Zionsville on 421. Atleast I think that area is considered Zionsville, if not my apologies. Anyway, this is a cheeseburger place that I thought would be neat to tryout. Here was my experience.

Not a very long wait to be seated and it was lunchtime, definately a plus. Servers, managers, etc.. were very nice and timely. However, I got a Bacon Cheeseburger, Fries and water. The total before tip was $9.24 and I will be honest in saying that you would have got the same size Cheeseburger and more fries at a local fast food establishment. They are supposed to have an endless supply of fries, I guess you could get more, we weren't offered anymore. They ask you how you would like your hamburger fixed I said well done, no pink. They were having issues with their grill, understandable and they made it very clear that they were sorry. However, we waited everybit of 30 to 40 minutes for our food. Mine came out close to medium, lot of pink, and I wasn't about to wait that much longer to send it back. I can say the atomsphere was neat and the people were nice, but I definately don't plan on going back anytime soon. The food was good, but not for the money that is charged.

So overall, I am glad that I tried it. But for the money that I spent, I would have rathered gone to Wendy's and eaten and had a few more dollars in my pocket.

It is in good ole' Carmel. That area is West Carmel Clay.

Anyway - I would say my expercience is similar. I have enjoyed the Red Robin in Plainfield a few times. Always been happy. I was happy to see the one opening on 421 right next to where I work. We have ordered a few times from the new one and both times were not 100% pleased. I am still writing it up to being a new store - hopefully time will work out the issues!

My son was raving about this place (not the new one...somewhere else) He was impressed with the fried egg on the hamburger. Of course....it doesn't take much to impress a sixth grader!

The one over by me in Clay Terrace should be opening soon. I was looking forward to trying it, but maybe I will wait till they get everything ironed out. I can't wait 40 minutes for food with a 2 year old. I'm not the kind of mommy who lets their child act up in a restaurant, so I need to get in and get out.

I ate at one of these several years ago in Beavercreek, OH...was unimpressed...just over priced hamburgers.

Went to lunch at Red Robin with a potential business client last week.
Very neet/trendy looking place. The service was good. My burger was excellent just not worth $10. Seing as how I expensed it I don't mind but probably won't return.

Took the girls here for supper tonight. Food was great, service was good. Reasonably priced since I anticipated the higher price for a burger. The only drawback is their kids menu is only for 10 and under, and there are no exceptions. The 11-year-old looks like a 13-year-old anyway, so definitely couldn't pass for 10. She was forced to order off of the adult menu and a lot of food was wasted.

I work about a mile from the Red Robin and have eaten there 3 times for lunch 1 time for dinner. I am a HUGE fan of this place! I have had several differnt things tbut the mushroom burger and the portrast sandwich were killer! More fries always offered but we barely had any room left.

You can sign up on their web site and they will send you a coupon for a free birthday burger.

More than agree the burgers are great
Just have a hard time with believing any burger is worth $10
I would have to say that Hardees thick burger is a better value

Agree with most posters, good burger, way over priced. Watch out for the drinks $2.49 for a coke or iced tea!

Tried Red Robin. Delicious hamburgers, but way too pricey. Probably won't go back.
